An apprentice with award-winning commercial refrigeration and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) specialist PCPM has landed a full-time job with the firm after successfully completing his apprenticeship.
Harry Marshall, 19, joined the Chesterfield-based firm in 2017 and has just completed his City and Guilds Level 3 in ICT Systems and Principles, achieving two Distinctions and a Merit.
He has now been offered a full-time role with the company as a CAD operator and estimator.
PCPM was established in 2005 and provides a range of commercial refrigeration and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions, including the design, supply and install of heating and cooling systems and commercial cold rooms.
Over the years, it has worked on more than 850 McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, and more than 230 Pizza Express outlets.
Founder and Managing Director Peter Crown said: “We’re proud of the success that Harry has achieved as our first ever apprentice and are pleased to be able to help his career with us progress as he takes on his new role.
“Harry has worked really hard to achieve this qualification and has quickly become a key part of the tight-knit team we have built here at PCPM. His new role will enable us to offer a more rounded CAD and estimates solution to our clients.”
Harry added: “I’m delighted to be taking the next step on my career journey with PCPM after completing my apprenticeship and look forward to the new challenges it brings.”
